The bloodloss mutator simulates the debilitating effects of losing blood. If the health of a player dips below the value set in g_bloodloss
, then the player's health will slowly decrease. This can result in death. The only solution is to quickly find health pickups and take enough. This mutator makes it dangerous to go into an area heavily populated by the enemy, and makes players think twice before using damaging methods of propulsion, such as rockets or lasers. People who are trigger-happy with explosives must especially beware, as damaging yourself may be the end. In CTF games, it makes guarding the FC even more vital, as if the FC is damaged below the threshold, the flag may be forfeit.
